Sungu Oyoo is a writer, educator and Coordinator of Mwamko, the Pan-African popular pedagogy collective. He is also the national spokesperson of Kongamano la Mapinduzi, a social movement in Kenya. He previously coordinated the #ReRightHistory campaign, a Pan-African and global campaign that demanded reparations by examining the legacies of slavery and colonialism. Abolish Everything: A Poetic Manifesto From Last Evening, is the first published collection of poems by Sungu.
