Megan Lessing is a human rights activist, a feminist and a fierce advocate for the
rights of sex workers. For the past four years she has been the Advocacy and Media
Officer for the Sex Workers Education and Advocacy Taskforce (SWEAT). She is a
Steering Committee member of the Asijiki Coalition for the Decriminalisation of Sex
Work (SWEAT) and is responsible for the #SayHerName Campaign – research
campaign documenting the deaths of sex workers through violence. She also
coordinates a training programme for sex workers in media and the Feminist Group
(an intersectional feminist workshop).
