We invite everyone to view two powerful works that are a testament to queer existence now and always.
Seeking Solace is a photographic series by Nkateko Mondhlana which commemorates the existence of the LGBTQ+ community and explores the intimacy and belonging shared amongst queer people. Moreover, it offers a positive contribution towards understanding the LGBTQ+ way of life.
Queer Is by Theophillus Afrotist asserts that being queer is more African than being queerphobic. It is a beautiful short film, written, shot and created by queer people and played by queer people for queer people.
