The Embassy of Sweden in partnership with the Swedish Institute and Liliesleaf Foundation, has developed an interactive, online web-based experience called PAMOJA, which combines a digital exhibition on the solidarity, partnership and friendship between anti-apartheid activists in South Africa and Sweden and conversations with young activists of today.
This site is intended to stimulate insights into the potential of international solidarity. Based on interviews with stalwarts, youth focus groups on international solidarity and extensive research through literature the multi-media platform aims to use the history of Sweden’s role in supporting development and liberation movements struggling against colonialism and apartheid as a starting point for conversations with a young audience on activism today. The website is accompanied by a Swedish Institute photo exhibition with portraits celebrating activists from South Africa, Sweden and nine other African countries.
At the event you will be given a guided tour followed by a dialogue session, but you are more than welcome to visit it already now on https://pamoja-togetherchangeispossible.today/#/
The Embassy of Sweden is very much looking forward to your participation.
